Outlook Express 5.0 Interface
Microsoft Corporation, Artsource

ROLE:Programming and UI Design.

The Outlook Express default view dynamically rendered information about Newsgroups, Email, and user tips.
Overview:
Separating graphic UI design from the core C programming module was the key to deploying Outlook Express quickly. Written in JavaScript and DHTML, the interface was required to perform drop menus, auto tabbing, hyperlinks and mouse actions, such as "rollovers" and "mousedown" and "mouseup" behaviors. The flexible nature of web technologies allowed us to tweak the interface throughout the process, without hindering the efforts of the C++ development team.
